We have club rules that states 1/10th scale electric not nitro that said if youre buggy is a 1/10th scale why not convert it to electric then you can come and race with us.

Hi Bosman , i have a nitro monstet truck . Just used it as a way out example . Plans are to get an electric buggy . Have geared up already for offroad , used to race on road electric yrs ago in Uitenhage . Want to stay with offroad , and looking forward to taking a buggy onto the track . The brushless guys/gals will give nitro a good run , just a pity nitro is noisy ! But ja , will be on track soon with buggy Smile .

as Bosman said, the rules are there you just started reading a bit late. We dont even allow guys to start a nitro car at the track and if the garden service have a noisy weedeater we burn it Very Happy
Jokes aside, the class was introduce to accomodate guys who have cars that dont fall in any of the current classes. Minimum will have to be spent to get into rc racing this way.
