Re: 6 man team
hey we wish!! I got in the a mains with 1/12th, 13.5 and the new front wheel drive cars. Christo also a mains in 17.5, 13.5 and fwd. I ended up 4th in 1/12th, 9th fwd and 10th in 13.5. Everyone tried to win the race in the 1st corner so ended up doing one lap in 13.5 and spending some time on the belting after getting punted by a guy completing his stop and go penalty!
Christo did very well and ended mid a mains in all his classes. Johan Botha won the B-main 17.5 and Thinus got a 3rd in the 17.5 B main. Gareth pulled in in 4th in 17.5 B and I think 4th in the B group fwd. Abu also did very well and I stand to be corrected but think he got 7th in the a-main 17.5 and in the b-main with fwd.
They rain messed us up a bit and we only had one final that counted and it showed in the poor quality of driving in the finals. People tried to get to the front at any cost but it was frustrating to sit and wait for the track to dry every day.
Enough excuses now, we will try harder next time.
Well done to the team that went to Welkom and hope a lot of you will join us in East London in a few weeks. Come on you Capies, join us!!

Eish, now thats what I'm talking about. Thanks ray, and you guys did well considering it was a busy nat, and to only do it in one final is awesome.
I would so dig to go to EL, but not this year. Who all from diaz is going to go?

Hopefully we will be able to convince a few guys to come through to the East London event. I don't think it will be a big event so a nice first event and an opportunity to score some championship points.
A lot of the guys have the equipment and it wont cost to much. They can pay temp. Sarda membership so not such a big deal. Lets see, still a while to go.

How big was the turn out of entries?
Thanks man, 104 entries so a decent enough event.
