I will be joining you, I dont know if Thinus raced last week but he is also busy with a project. Gareth is building a car but not certain if it will be ready by Sunday. There is movement for sure. There will be a few formula ones and a few new front wheel drives soon!!

not that simple. Front wheel drive or rear wheel drive. If it's 4 wheel drive it has to be an off roader with off road rubber tyres or rally tyres. You can use any battery (2 cell hardcase lipo or 6 cell nimh or nicd) and any electric motor, brushed or brushless. That's the basics.

Would you be then so kind enough to ask "die geleerde heer" to specify the 1st line of this posting, because he leaves a loophole for other people and then it will be called a misunderstanding,so in other words, its not anything goes, but more like you have stated, which brings it back to my original question.....""""WHATS THE RULES????"""". I know whats the rules, but people has asked me trackside,so answer the question, thanks!!!Ray wrote:ototw wrote:Thanks,so I can use my spare TT01 with a lipo and 25/55 gears then???that should go along the ground and it has wheels,,thanks for the info.Tcab wrote:Just as the name says: Anything goes, as long as it has wheels and goes along the ground

give it another read and some thought, it's really not that unclear.

Something special for the open class
hey guys. This comes ready to run, 20turn motor, bearings and oil filled shocks. It's rear wheel drive and sells for only R1295. All you need is in the box..

Re: new class, new thread
I may not yet be a member at Diaz , i think the mixed class is a great idea ! I run offroad nitro , and to buy a new chassis to compete with is just not easy . Newbys to the rc racing scene or the person that has recently relocated may not have a chassis that slots into an existing class . I am not wanting to rub anyone up the wrong way , i would love to take on a road chassis with a buggy ! That would be so interesting. The differant handeling challenge , and the fun of racing . Fair enough , although stated as anything goes , there must be some basic rules . If there wernt , i could enter my nitro and that is not right . That said , when the track in Uitenhage is running again , there will be an "Open" class . Hope to be on the track soon with a buggy !, and the fun of racing .
