Re: Coastal Cup 2011
Quiet before the storm. How has the weather been lately, any Idea what we can expect. I need to know if I should pack in my tyre warmers and wet weathers ??

We don't have to do that, we just use our time sensibly. You'll probably be unpleasantly surprised to see the results:lol!:the DJ wrote:I think everyone bunked work today to get some practice in!!!

Re: Coastal Cup 2011
not likely son not likely. Got my new chassis in the post, so too busy building them up now. Think I will use PE as a shake down session. The track is easy enough, just to get to know my new cars and still cream you as a bonus.

Re: Coastal Cup 2011
This "easy enough" track will give you such a hiding that you'll wish you'd stayed with the chassis you know. Don't judge a book by it's cover!!!!!! You may just get a heart bleeding experience. Hope you got enough spares with the new stuff. You may just need some.

Re: Coastal Cup 2011
I just got off the phone with oom T after an hour, we were catching up nicely until my blady airtime ran out. He is all prepped, has been for over a month already, I pressume all the other guys are in the same boat as him. His cars were prepped for raceday but with all the *insert choice word* weather they've been having he hasn't had to do any maintenance on them!!
Hows your new cars coming along? Post some pics of your new secret weapons.

Re: Coastal Cup 2011
Ja work is progessing nicely thanks. The one chassis will get to me too late, so I will have to assemble in PE. Not a problem though, will do the run-in during the heats. Should peak in the A mains.

Re: Coastal Cup 2011
Where's all this confidence coming from, or is that just your hardarse attitude coming to the fore???
Where you staying in PE? We are staying at Bretts ol'ladies house, I'm sure he wont mind and there'll be space if you need a bed, some of our guys are going with their wives and staying at B&B's, so there wont be as many staying there as last year.

I'm here, I'm here! Maybe you need a new pair of glasses too. Hopefully you won't need spares for that if you're careful.Snotspoed wrote:What happened to old Oom T, Ray and Bossman ??? think they are busy prepping for you DJ

@ DJ, As you know confidence comes from years of practice honing ones skills on the track. Anyway thanks for the offer, but I have already made a booking in PE. That and not sure if I can trust you Slaapstad manne, might wake up with tummy cramps on race day
@ Oom T, was actually wondering if you are able to see all those small components on the car when you get so close to 50

Well trust me that lady still looks like a sister.
Once again you show your true character, the only way you can win is to bump your opposition into the "pipes"
